Work, Not Resolutions
“First say to yourself what you would be; and then do what you have to do.” – Epictetus
“Life grants nothing to us mortals without hard work.” – Horace
Regardless of what you decide is your major goal for 2016, be it to run a marathon, write a book, or save 20% of your income, labor will be required. Stating that you want something is only the first step. If you wish to reap, one must first sow. The best way to insure success is to spend 15 minutes, at minimum, every single day doing some task that is directly related to your biggest goal (e.g. write a letter, read an article, make a phone call, send an email).
