Do You Have a Five Year Plan?

5 Year Plan
“We greatly overestimate what we can accomplish in one year.  But we greatly underestimate what we can accomplish in five years.”  – Peter Drucker

“It’s fascinating for us women to begin looking at our lives in five-year plans. It really does help you keep on track. If that’s too hard, start with a two-year plan.” – Marlo Thomas

Most successful people have a time horizon that spans several years. Long term thinking is often an essential key for big projects and goals. So, if you do not have a 5-year plan, I highly suggest you take an evening an map out the next few years, consider everything you would like to do, have, be, and experience. Where would you like to travel? What would you like to learn or become? Some things are just not possible to complete within 365 days. Increase some of your goals to span long-term targets that may take more than a few winters to accomplish.
